Who is Eberspächer VAIREX?

Eberspächer VAIREX is a leading supplier of high-performance air compressors for fuel cells used in mobile, material handling and stationary application. The technology applied is uniquely well suited to meet the specific fuel cell air compressor requirements such as clean air and durability. Since July 2021 we are a member of the globally active Eberspächer Group and we have a clear vision for the future: we will actively shape the mobility and energy change. Dedicated people are working on smart solutions and future-oriented products. From our headquarters in Boulder Colorado we service our clients with sales offices in Asia and Europe.
Hydrogen, a Drive of the Future
To us, hydrogen is an important energy carrier for a sustainable future. If hydrogen is produced with renewable energies, then we are talking about green hydrogen. This is becoming increasingly important as a potentially CO2-neutral raw material. Mobile and stationary fuel cell technology can be used in transport and traffic or in the decentralised supply of electricity and heat to residential areas or office buildings.

The family business, headquartered in Esslingen am Neckar, Germany, stands for innovative solutions in exhaust technology, automotive electronics and thermal management for a broad range of vehicle types. In combustion or hybrid engines and in e-mobility, the components and systems from Eberspächer ensure greater comfort, higher safety and a clean environment. Eberspächer is paving the way for future technologies such as mobile and stationary fuel cell applications, synthetic fuels as well as the use of hydrogen as an energy carrier. In 2021, the Group of Companies generated gross revenue totaling over 6.0 billion euros. Net revenue adjusted for transitory items was at 2.3 billion euros.
